I just love to read Andre's books, they are so calm and exciting. Except this one, there is no calmness here as he has made a darker world than he's previous books that I have read, and I loved it! It starts as a fantastic new series, and it just keeps building up to be even more exciting and page turning for every chapter.
If you have read Relic and City of Bridges, you will see that this one is much harder on the world. And you will love it. The magic system is also really intriguing, with elemental magic and the explanation behind it and how it affects women and men differently. Every characters was created differently and exceptionally fantastic to read about. There will not be a single characters you will not want to read about.
Either if you love them or want them dead. There will be some romance and love between women, and I found that very well executed in this story. This is a series I would recommend for everyone out there who loves a adventure, with some magic in the world. I had a fantastic time reading this one.
